Does Online Dating Work?
Updated: Jul 10, 2020
My answer is Yes, Online dating does work. It works if you are loyal. If you are upfront and honest about what you’re looking for, and what kind of person you think will best fit that role in your life. Online dating absolutely works when you are yourself, and hopefully, then encounter someone being themselves. It works when we don’t hide behind a screen and try to be an edited version of ourselves because, at the end of the day, it’s just a stepping stone to meet in real life.
I am sharing some our of tips that will help you out in finding your Compatible Companion:-
Always Be Upfront
There’s a difference between oversharing in your profile and completely lying. If you have a child, if you are in the midst of a divorce if you don’t actually work for a big MNC, but a different, lesser-known tech company – be clear about that! Those are the kinds of half-truths that can really damage the chance of a relationship with someone.
Always be Passionate
If you’re truthful about your passions and hobbies, you will inevitably find someone to connect over those things with.
If you pretend you are busy on the weekends, you’re not free to meet someone who will put that to the test. You want to meet someone who likes the real you, so be Loyal to the Person you gonna meet.
Don't use Old Pictures in You Profile
Yes, Indeed that people don't like who doesn't have time to update their profile that's why it's very important always to use recent pictures that represent you Genuinely. Trust me, the first date will go better if you both show up looking as you expected. There is nothing to gain from trying to portray a younger, thinner, fitter, or a more flattering version of yourself.
Now You Can Date Whenever you want at your Favourite Place
One of the best parts of online dating is that you’re not limited by time, location, or other circumstances. You can log in and search for dates no matter where you are and no matter what you’re doing.
You don’t have to wait for coffee shops and bars to be open. You don’t have to wait around for your friends to set you up with someone. You don’t have to get all dressed up to go out — only to not meet anyone you like. You can just sit at home in your PJs on your couch and see who catches your eye.
Whatever works for you and the person or people you’re talking to is fine, as long as you’re using the platform and engaging with the opportunities. Next time you find yourself asking ‘does online dating work?’, I hope you will find your perfect match, good luck.
